Today, marking the 20th anniversary of the US release of "Casper", I asked director Brad Silberling what his thoughts were on the movie and its popularity today? He replied, “Casper feels like yesterday morning, and a faraway dream all at once for me. Proud and humbled that it lives on... And I suppose a young friend quoting the film in her wedding vows about defines its enduring quality for me."
